Warriors FUNdamentals of Hockey or Ringette is designed for children who can skate independently and are ready to take the next step into hockey or ringette—or are new to the game and eager to improve.

This program focuses on developing strong foundational skills while keeping sessions fun, engaging, and confidence-building. It’s an ideal bridge between Learn to Skate and full game play, and a great pathway into additional Warrior hockey and ringette programs.

✅ Prerequisite

This program is best suited for:

• Skaters who have passed Tot or Youth Silver in our Academy of Skating programs, or

• Players currently participating in house-level hockey who want to improve their skating and overall skills

🏒 Equipment Required

• CSA-approved hockey or ringette helmet with cage

• Full hockey or ringette equipment

• Skates and gloves

• Player’s own stick

Pucks and rings will be used throughout the program.
