Ringette Development
Warriors Ringette Academy covers Learn to Play, Fundamentals, Intro to Power Skating, Progressive Power Skating, Bar Down Shooting & Skills, and Train to Excel Whether you’ve never played, are playing or are a skilled player, we have programs designed for everyone. Full ringette equipment required for all programming.

Year round programming provided at Chilliwack Coliseum

Learn to Play Program is designed for skaters 4 - 8 year old who would like to play ice ringette in the future or those just starting in ringette. The program provides an opportunity for kids to try their hand at the sport and see if it is something they would like to pursue further.

Prerequisite: Students must have completed Academy of Skating Tot Silver.

FUNdamentals is a Learn to Play program designed for skaters 6 - 12 yrs old who would like to play ice ringette in the future or for those who are currently participating in community level ringette. The program covers the foundations of proper skating techniques such as stride, edges, balance, and skills such as puck control and ring skills.

Prerequisite: Students must have completed Academy of Skating at Youth Silver and/or completed the Learn to Play program.

Progressive Power Skating is a program that will continue work on balance, stride and edges with the focus towards power, speed, acceleration, lateral movement, quick feet and much more.

Prerequisite: Student has taken and/or has advanced out of Hockey Fundamentals, or Academy of Skating Tot or Youth GOLD.

Bar Down Skating & Skills is designed to improve stickhandling, ring control and shooting techniques. We look at proper stick length, weight transfer, hand positioning, body movement and many other dynamics to improve your overall skills.

Prerequisite: Student has taken and/or has advanced out of Power Skating, or Academy of Skating Tot or Youth GOLD.
