Summer 2024 – Progressive Power Skating
Warrior Progressive Power Skating is designed for players to learn the proper skating techniques to increase speed and agility. Coaches will cover agility for maneuvering and deception, sudden stops and explosive starts, techniques to increase speed, power and evasiveness while controlling the puck. Also touch on body and puck positioning.
Prerequisite:
- Student has advanced out of Hockey Fundamentals, or Academy of Skating Tot or Youth GOLD. Students need to be 100% comfortable on the ice and able to skate in a push glide sequence forwards and backwards. When registering for this program students must be able to stop and use both their inside and outside edges.

Equipment: Full hockey equipment is required including BNQ neck guards, CSA approved Hockey helmet with cage and hockey stick.
